Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) needs your help! They are hoping for students and teachers of Central Collegiate to give back to the less fortunate children worldwide. Their goals are to receive donations as much as possible by NOVEMBER 9! OCC will accept toys, hygiene items, school supplies, etc.–there are green posters around the school that includes ideas of what to and NOT to donate. If you don’t have any items to donate, OCC also accepts cash donations, as it costs $10 to send each shoebox. Hand in all your gifts at your first-period class or the Operation Christmas Child collection table (which is set up each day at lunch in the Grade 12 lounge).
This year’s collection is a competition between each period-one class. The class to pack the most boxes by the due date (November 9) will receive free MAPLE LEAF DONUTS! If you need more shoeboxes or have any questions, please head to Ms. Saylor and ask her for extra boxes. Let’s give back CCI!
